Feeling stuck because of WEIGHT!

stuck in life because of weight

The statistics are dismal. A recent study has found that 69% of people feel trapped in the same old routine, and only 3 out of 10 people are happy with their lives.* People are feeling stuck.

Some are feeling stuck in their careers, feeling like they’re too far along one path to make a change. Some are feeling stuck in their personal lives. The toll of the daily grind sucks most of their time and energy. So their relationships, self-care, and personal goals get lost in the shuffle of the treadmill existence.

I often see people who feel stuck because of their weight and the body image they harbor. Questions like “What will they think of me?” or “I will never get that opportunity because of my weight?” often begin to pop up ever so often…causing our confidence to dip and we start second guessing … Literally everything! I was myself feeling stuck in my life at one point … not because of my weight, but because of my relationships.

Why Are You Feeling Stuck?

When people come across these challenges of feeling stuck, the feeling sometimes doesn’t go away. It often intensifies as time goes on. As the stuck feeling intensifies, some people choose to settle. Subconsciously, without even realizing it, they end up pushing their dreams and goals further and further down.

There are two main reasons why people feel stuck:

1. You see no way out?

Do you see no way out of the weight loss and weight gain roller coaster? Lot of people, especially women, feel this way. Juggling life, family, work and chores makes you put yourself last on the list. They see no way out and this is what leads to hopelessness and frustration.

2. You don’t know what you stand for?

Another cause of feeling stuck because of your weight is not knowing who you are. This may sound odd but know this that weight problems are a reflection of an inner imbalance in certain areas of your life. If you don’t understand how you’re innately wired – your strengths, your gifts, your talents, your passions – it’s tough to make decisions that enable you to live life of peak physical health. It’s tough to live a fulfilled life if you don’t know who you are.

If your weight is holding you back, you may need to see a Weight Loss Physician (Medical Weight Loss doctor) or you might be experiencing medical issues (such as Diabetes or Sleep Aponea) due to your excess weight.. Either ways – there is definitely a way out – you do not have to feel stuck!
